Cadalpe C25 Earth Filter with Centrifugal Discharge

C25 KIESELGUHR (EARTH) FILTER, with horizontal discs, and centrifugal system for discharging the cake with doughy consistency.

Features:

Filter housing, AISI 304 stainless steel, fitted to hold the horizontal filtering discs, and to withstand a hydraulic testing pressure up to 10 Bar. Filtering pressure with liquids up to 8 bar.

It is provided with a motorized device for the rotation of filtering discs supporting shaft, for semi-dry cake detachment. A wide hole at the bottom, with a special butterfly type system, allows an easy discharge of cake by gravity.

The housing has one vertical manifold, with oriented jets, which conducts the final washing of the filtering discs.

Filtering discs, consisting in AISI 304 stainless steel support, AISI 304 stainless steel draining net and AISI 316 stainless steel REPS sieve, fixed to the support by a projection welding process. The discs are kept by peripheral spacers made in stainless steel, and by central spacers that are manufactured in Noryl (smaller models) and in AISI 304 stainless steel (for larger models).

The filter is equipped with a safety valve and gauge with blockage intervention when the setting pressure is reached.

AISI 304 stainless steel dosing tank, for proportioning filter aids and serving also as a recycling vat during pre-coating stage. It is provided with slow-speed stirrer and pump with adjustable flow-rate, for earth automatic injection. Each of them is driven by a separate geared motor. It’s also equipped with protection grill for accident prevention and with cover than can be half opened.

S/Steel Feed Pump: centrifugal type

Piping, manufactured AISI 304 stainless steel, provided with butterfly taps, flow-rate indicator, lighted show-glasses, pre-filter on pump suction side and back-pressure valve.

Electric Control Board and electric wiring have IP 55 protection

Frame manufactured in S/Steel, the filter is made to EEC regulations

Options:

Device for final filtration of liquid remaining in filter housing. It is formed by one or more stainless steel holders with connections between filter housing and pump, each of them fitted with one washable microporous filtering cartridge of 30" triple length. The operation is realized with the same filter pump and therefore it's not provided the utilization of air or inert gas.

Basin/Tub for collecting the cake, in AISI 304 stainless steel, movable and completed with wheels in order to allow its positioning under the filter during the phase of discharge and transfer of cake.
