VinPilot Micro Vinification

Through their leading role in the field of fermentation control, WFT are also the primary contact when it comes to special solutions for experimental wineries. In collaboration with research & development institutions and training centres they develop and construct fermentation control systems for microvinification.

CONTAINER CONTAINERS MICROCOOL COMBI 

In 2009 WFT developed the now patented MicroCool-combi, a heat exchange module especially for the vinification in small containers. The module has a cooling and heating device, an integrated stainless steel gauge and a bung through which a sampling can also be take place.

The exchanger module can be both cooled and heated. The heating is done by an integrated 24V heating module. This sits in a water bath and is supplied directly from the controller with 24V. The heating output is about 45W. Thus, a 40lt container can be heated per hour by about 1 ° C. Cooling is also occurs through a well integrated double-pipe in the exchanger. The cooling capacity, depending on water temperature, is between 150 and 200W

FLEXIBLE USE - EASY TO CLEAN

The module is connected via automatically closing quick-coupling with the cooling system and connected by watertight connectors on the controller. Thus, the entire element can be detached easily for cleaning.
The exchanger element of MicroCool-combi is brought in through a silicone plug in the container. The gauge and the bung are inserted through this. The adjustment of the immersion depth is therefore easily adapted to different containers. MicroCool-combi can of course be also adapted to customer specifications, manufactured in various sizes and customised services.

 CONTROL AND RECORDING

Together with the VinPilot ®-Profi plug, a complete bus system is set up. With the software VinPilot Manager ® all temperature curves, analyses and treatments are recorded and the tests are easily administered. A new module (autumn 2010) allows you to export the fermentation recordings to Excel and thus the tests are easier to compare and evaluate. In addition to control and recording via the PC, VinPilot ® Profi-Plug temperature settings can be made directly to the controller. The watertight connector system offers the optimal basis to use this control for the microvinification. MicroCool-combi can be quickly and easily attached and detached.
